Recently moved and renovated, Portage la Prairie’s Library is now located in Heritage Square and is the largest library in rural Manitoba! The library collection consists of approximately 50,000 items. The library loans junior and adult fiction and non-fiction, talking books, magazines, and videos. Watch for our new CD audiobooks. There are separate collections of large print material, primary books and local histories.  Other library Services include: Block loans to schools or organizations, interlibrary loans, free internet access, children’s workshops, pre-school story time, book and artifact displays, multilingual books, talking books, adult informational sessions, author readings and book launches, and much more.
