CITY PARKING INFORMATION

Free parking is available throughout the city in designated parking lots. However, on street parking is also available for a nominal fee:

COST FOR METER PARKING:
$0.05 for 12 MINUTES
$0.10 for 24 MINUTES
$0.25 for 1 HOUR

PARKING VIOLATION FINES:
$25.00, $30.00 AND $40.00
If payment is received within 12 days, the fine is reduced to: $5.00, $10.00 AND $30.00

DON’T GET TOWED!
On May 26, 2003 Council adopted a policy for the registration of liens against a vehicle and towing of the vehicle of the register owner if the registered owner of the vehicle has 3 or more outstanding parking tickets. Procedures are being set in place to enact this new requirement.
