 Press Conference Notice 



The Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie and the Mayor of the City of Portage la Prairie are pleased to invite the media and public to attend a press conference on Thursday, September 20, 2007 in the William Glesby Centre at 9:00 am.

It is the intent to announce the site of the future multi-million dollar recreation multiplex and the project schedule.  Representatives from the design team will also be in attendance including the project manager, Guenter Schaub of Tower Engineering and architect Jeff Penner from Stantec Architecture.

A press release with further details of the announcement will be distributed at the press conference on September 20.
