The “Immigrate Portage la Prairie” website was made possible with funding from  Manitoba Opportunities. This project was created based on the needs of new immigrants coming to Portage la Prairie, as well as, assisting employers of our community to understand the immigration process.

The purpose of this website is to be the one stop, all inclusive location that all users will “surf” to when looking for facts related to immigration in Portage la Prairie and area.  It is an “all encompassing” site full of exciting and up to date information consisting of:

• Settlement Services
• After arrival to the community
• An overview of the community
• Employment options
• Information for employers of immigrants
• Helpful links and websites


We invite all people to log onto www.immigrateportagelaprairie.com and check it out for themselves.  This website will be updated on a regular basis and will reflect all that is happening in our community regarding immigration.
