RECREATION AND LEISURE SERVICES

On April 19, 2007, City Council announced the addition of a new Department— Recreation and Leisure Services.  Ms. Jenn Sarna was appointed as the Director of this newly formed Department.    Moving recreation services out of the Economic and Community Development Department was required to create a separate stand alone Department that will focus on the new recreation multiplex project. 

MISSION

The Recreation & Leisure Services Department exists to enhance the

quality of life of all our citizens through the development &

efficient management of recreation & leisure facilities,

programs & services.
