The new causeway and roundabouts will be open to traffic tomorrow afternoon, September 30th!
Construction of the roadway on the west side of both roundabouts will take place next. Crescent Road west of the roundabout and east of Tupper Street and the west exit of the Island roundabout will be closed while this work is being completed. Traffic to the golf course and fairgrounds will be routed south around Stride Place. Pedestrian traffic will continue to use the temporary causeway for the next couple of weeks and construction is expected to be completed by the end of October.
