The City of Portage la Prairie is pleased to offer credit card payments for a number of customer bills: utility; parking tickets; accounts receivables and taxes.
This service is offered through www.PaySimply.ca, a secure third party Canadian payment provider which accepts VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express.
Note the fee for this payment service is 2.5% so customers should choose whether this payment option is the best option for them. Some examples of fees charged are:
$25 parking ticket: $0.63
$200 utility bill: $5.00
$500 accounts receivable bill: $12.50
$3,000 tax bill: $75.00
All fees are paid directly to PaySimply and the City of Portage la Prairie does not retain or share in any portion of these fees. You will be notified of the fee amount prior to the payment being processed. You will also receive an email confirmation of the payment and fees paid for this service by PaySimply.
To use this service, link to www.paysimply.ca then type in City of Portage la Prairie in the section asking “What do you need to pay?”. You will need your credit card information and the account number you are paying in order to pay your bill via your credit card.
