The City of Portage la Prairie would like to remind the public that they play an important role in helping crews stay on top of patching potholes popping up on City roadways during the spring freeze-thaw cycle.

Motorists are encouraged to report problem potholes by identifying locations that require attention so they can be repaired in a timely manner. Pothole service requests are addressed on a priority and scheduling basis. To report a pothole, please provide location details via one of the following channels:

  • Submit a Service Request – Service Requests allow community members to be involved with the upkeep of our City by submitting problems or observations to City staff. Submissions by users are submitted electronically to the appropriate department who will investigate the issue. Whether you want to report a pothole, an animal running at large, a frozen drain, an illegally parked vehicle or a downed tree, the ability to report this information is only as far away as your smart phone or computer. Click here www.city-plap.com/cityplap/services/service-requests/ to submit a service request via our website or download the City of Portage la Prairie app from the App Store and  submit it via your smartphone!
  • Phone: Call the Operations Department at 204 239-8346
