Portage la Prairie Planning District
The Portage la Prairie Planning District is responsible for Building Inspections, Permits (building, demolition, plumbing, moving, signs), Planning (conditional uses, development plan amendments, rezoning and variations) and Zoning Memorandums.
The City of Portage la Prairie is dedicated to Public Safety. Fire and Emergency Services, Police Services and Bylaw Enforcement make up our Public Safety Department.
The Operations Department’s primary function is to maintain the City’s infrastructure and services such as water supply, sewage treatment, garbage and recyclable collection.
