The City of Portage la Prairie is accepting resumes for the position of Administrative Assistant for the Community Safety Officer Department. This position is responsible for all administrative duties such as assisting the public, monitoring radios and dispatching as required, maintaining records using a variety of computer programs, assisting with data entry, and maintaining the division’s filing system.

Qualifications include Grade 12 and a certificate in an Administration Assistant program or equivalent. A minimum of two years of experience in a general office experience is required.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with 1 hour for lunch.

The wage for this position is $25.52 per hour.
