The City of Portage la Prairie is accepting resumes for the position of Operations Clerk. Under the direction of the Administrative Assistant – Operations, receives the public, responds to inquiries, prepares and maintains data records using spreadsheets and databases and performs other clerical duties for the Operations Department.

REQUIRED TO OPERATE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS:

Computer (Word, Excel, Access programs), laser printer, photocopier, facsimile machine, 2-way radio, calculator, telephone system

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Grade 12 graduation plus an additional related clerical/office technician program of over six months and up to one year or equivalent.

Experience, over six months, up to and including one year.

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, 1 hour for lunch.

 SALARY:  $23.80 per hour, as per CUPE Collective Agreement.
