The purpose of the Finance Department is to safeguard the City’s Investment in assets and services through the provision of accurate and timely information to our internal and external customers.
The Finance Department is responsible for providing financial services, including accounts payable & receivable, budgeting, cash management & investment planning, and asset & capital management. Additionally, the department manages utility accounts, property tax, collection of tickets & fines, business licensing, as well as the development of purchasing controls & tendering co-ordination.
