City Hall / Island Park Causeway Lighting
The City of Portage la Prairie welcomes requests to light up City Hall and the Island Park Causeway in recognition of special events, awareness campaigns, or significant community causes.
Lighting requests are considered on a case‑by‑case basis and are subject to scheduling availability, and City approval.
To submit a request, please complete our online form here. Requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance to allow sufficient time for review.
Applications must be community‑focused and support one or more of the following:
- An event or cause of national or international significance;
- A local festival or event that positively contributes to community spirit; or
- A local, national, or international awareness initiative that fosters community connection.
