Parade Permits and Street Closures

Under the City’s Traffic Bylaw, a Parade Permit is required for parade events.

To submit a Parade Permit, complete our online Parade Permit or Street Closure form.  Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by the Community Safety Office Manager.

If a street closure is required for the event, the application must be made to the City of Portage la Prairie at least six weeks in advance.

You are responsible for making arrangements with the Portage la Prairie RCMP at (204) 857-4445 concerning this event.
