Flag Raising Requests

Flag raisings are a meaningful way to celebrate diversity, raise awareness, and show support for initiatives that matter to our community.

Flag raising requests are considered on a case‑by‑case basis and are subject to scheduling availability, and City approval. 

To request a flag raising, please complete our online form here.  Requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance to allow sufficient time for review.

Requests must be community‑focused and support one or more of the following:

• An event or cause of national or international significance;
• A local festival or event that positively contributes to community spirit; or
• A local, national, or international awareness initiative that fosters community connection.
