Vote by Sealed Envelope

A general election will be held on October 28, 2026.

Any voter who is unable to attend a regular or advance polling place in person may apply to vote by sealed envelope in one of the following manners:

• in writing to the Senior Election Official at City Hall, 97 Saskatchewan Avenue E, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0L8;
• by email to the SEO at dvanaert@city-plap.com;
• online at https://forms.city-plap.com/Application-to-Vote-by-Sealed-Envelope
• in person at City Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday

Mail, Email, or Online

Voters may apply between July 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026, and will receive a sealed envelope ballot package by regular post or by making alternative arrangements with the SEO.

In Person

Voters may apply between September 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026, and may pick up a sealed envelope ballot package at the time of application.
