Below is information on the positions available:

Voting Official / Deputy Returning Officer - Rate of pay is $310/day

Voting Officials, which are sometimes referred to as Deputy Returning Officers, are appointed by the Senior Election Official and are responsible for the conduct of voting at the polling stations. They must be knowledgeable about election legislation, know the voting and counting procedures, and be able to work with other election officials. They must be able to respond with knowledge and courtesy when dealing with voters, candidates and their agents, and perhaps the media.

Poll Clerk - Rate of pay is $270/day

Poll Clerks are appointed by the Senior Election Official to assist the Voting Official with the running of a polling station on Election Day and/or during an advance poll.
