Afternoon Snow Clearing Update - December 19, 2025

City snow removal teams have completed Zones 1 & 2 and are currently work through Zone 3.

Beginning this afternoon at approximately 1:00pm (December 19th) City staff will focus snow removal efforts on Zone 4.

Our Parks and Cemetery staff are currently working through our cities designated sidewalks and walking paths snow routes! We anticipate to be completed near the end of day and will focus efforts on the active transportation routes next!

We encourage citizens to move parked vehicles along residential roadways in Zone 4 if possible. Please contact City of Portage la Prairie Operations Department at 204-239-8346 for snow related questions or concerns.
