Royal Road S from Countess Avenue to Dufferin Avenue will reopen to traffic by 6:00pm this evening.

2nd Street NE from Saskatchewan Avenue E to Princess Avenue will reopen to traffic by 6:00pm this evening.

Temporary Road Closure effective Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 8:00am, due to road construction: Tupper Street S from Dufferin Avenue to Crescent Road.

Bulky Waste Collection Week will take place July 13–17. This free service is available to all City residents.

Residents of Portage la Prairie are encouraged to keep an eye on their mailboxes, as the 7th Edition of the City Guide is now being delivered to households across the community.

17^th Street SW from Crescent Road W to Saskatchewan Avenue W will remain closed, open to local traffic only.

Intention is to have the road opened by the end of the day, Friday, July 31, 2026.

Crescent Road W from 11th Street SW to 13th Street SW will remain closed over the weekend.

Effective Monday, June 29, 2026, at 7:00am, Crescent Road W from 11th Street SW to 19th Street SW will be closed due to road construction.

12^th Street SW from Crescent Road W to Saskatchewan Avenue W will remain closed, open to local traffic only.
