Spring cleaning has begun, and the City of Portage Public Works team is gearing up for a busy season. 

From April 19–25, 2026, approximately 50 soldiers from the Canadian Army will be conducting a Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) exercise in and around the City of Portage la Prairie.
