Public Notice - Mosquito Fogging
Public Notice is hereby given that the City of Portage la Prairie intends to conduct Mosquito Fogging with Delta Gard 20EW (active ingredient Deltamethrin), weather permitting, as follows:
Sunday, July 19, 2026 - all areas of the City
Fogging will begin at approximately 9:30 pm and be completed prior to 6:00 am. If the weather conditions are poor, the fogging will take place the following evening, pushing the schedule back one day.
Due to the continuing threat of West Nile all public are encouraged to allow fogging on their property. All persons requesting “no fog” are asked to please register by phoning 204-239-8346 before 4:00 pm, July 17, 2026 and leave a message with your name and address. All properties must be re-registered for no fogging. A 90 metre buffer zone will be left surrounding no fog property.
