Afternoon Snow Clearing Update - February 19, 2026
City snow removal teams have now completed Zones 1 & 2. Our crews will be working through Zone 3 for the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening. We anticipate we will be moving into Zone 4 in the early hours of Friday, February 20th.
Priority sidewalks are also being cleared throughout the day today and are expected to be completed by 6:00pm this evening! We will be moving onto our walking path routes on Friday, February 20th.
We encourage citizens to move parked vehicles along residential roadways in Zones 3 & 4 if possible. Please contact the City of Portage la Prairie Operations Department @ (204) 239-8346 for snow related questions or concerns.
