City of Portage la Prairie’s 2025 Holiday Lights Contest!

We are kicking off our 2025 Holiday Lights Contest and your chance to win a City of Portage la Prairie Gift Package!

All you have to do is decorate your home and/or property and register your address on our Holiday Tour Map.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday, December 10th.

Judging for the “Top 5” submissions will take place on Thursday, December 11th. The top 5 will be posted on our Facebook page for public voting between December 12th - 16th and the winner will receive a City of Portage la Prairie gift package!

To add your light display to the map:

1. Click the blue "Submit a Light Display" button at the bottom of the panel.
2. Follow the prompts to add your location and, optionally, add a photo.
3. Once your submission is approved, your display will appear on the public map!

It's as easy as that!
