Late Afternoon Snow Clearing Update - December 19, 2025

City snow removal teams have completed Zones 1 , 2 and 3. They are currently working through Zone 4. Our over night crews will complete Zone 4, review priority roadways and clean city parking lots.

Beginning December 20th at approximately 6:00 am, our snow crews will focus efforts on Zone 5 and begin the snow hauling process from City owned areas of need.

Priority sidewalks and walking path routes have now been completed. Tomorrow’s efforts will focus on removing snow from our Active Transportation routes.

We encourage citizens to move parked vehicles along residential roadways in Zone 4 & 5 if possible. Please contact City of Portage la Prairie Operations Department @ 204-239-8346 for snow related questions or concerns.
