Snow Clearing Update - February 18, 2026

Beginning at 7:00 pm this evening, February 18th, City staff will begin a 96-hour straight “Storm Related Snow Clearing”. Throughout the night, staff will focus all efforts on completing all designated priority routes, as well as Garbage and Recycling Collection Zone 1, in preparation for tomorrow's scheduled pick ups.

We ask citizens to move parked vehicles along residential roadways in Zone 1 to allow for efficient clearing. Please contact the City of Portage la Prairie Operations Department @ 204-239-8346 for snow related questions or concerns.
