Youth Member of Council Applications Open for 2025-2026 Term

Mayor Knox and Council are seeking nominations for the 2025/26 Youth Member of Council position.

If you are under the age of 18, enrolled as a full-time student, and a resident of the City of Portage la Prairie, you can self-nominate.

Potential candidates interested in becoming the next Youth Member of Council can fill out an online form. The deadline to submit your nomination is Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
