Public notice is hereby given that the 2026 Assessment Roll for the City of Portage la Prairie has been delivered to City Hall, 97 Saskatchewan Avenue E., Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and is open for public inspection during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Applications for revision may be made in accordance with sections 42 and 43 of the Assessment Act
Pursuant to subsection 367(7) of The Municipal Act, notice is hereby given that unless the tax arrears for the designated year and costs in respect of the hereinafter described properties are paid in full to the City prior to the commencement of the auction, the City will on the 15th day of September, 2025, at the hour of 2:00 PM, at City of Portage la Prairie, Council Chambers, 97 Saskatchewan Avenue East, Portage la Prairie MB, proceed to sell by public auction the described properties in the link.

This year’s fireworks display will be off the southwest bank of the causeway and will primarily be fired west, with some shells being fired to the east. The causeway will be under normal operation for both vehicle and foot traffic until 9:00 pm on July 1st when it will be closed for the fireworks. Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 10:30 pm).
